Applicable to any surface of toys, surfaces that children can touch and may come into contact with flat surfaces during throwing, and are used to assess whether the product meets the requirements for sharp points.
testing method:

1. The sample must be placed in an environment with room temperature of 23±2℃ and humidity of 20% to 70% for 4 hours before the pressure test;

2. Place the pressure head parallel to the test surface, press up to the desired number of pounds within 5 seconds and hold for 10 seconds. (The toy should be placed on a flat, hard surface in any suitable position during the test).

Requirements and Judgments:

1. Requirements: a. American Standard (ASTM/CPSC) 0～18 months 20±0.5LBS 18～36 months 25±0.5LBS 36～96 months 30±0.5LBS

b. European standard: 110N±5N

c. Chinese standard: 114N±2.0 N below 36 months, 136±2.0 N from 37 months to 96 months

d. Customer standards: refer to customer standards

2. If there are sharp edges, sharp points and small objects after the test, it will be regarded as unqualified.
